Visit the Farm

New Roots is located 45 minutes out of Cap Haitien in the peaceful village of Chiron. The sounds of school children walking by, women carrying their loads to the market, and sugar cane distilleries can be heard all around. Our farm is composed of 13 acres and is surrounded by mountains. It features an amazing view of the Citadel. One entire acre is designated for the use of guests staying in our Guest Residence. This acre hosts mature trees including mango, bread fruit, cocoa, palm, and others. The compound is partially walled for privacy and there is also a night security guard as well. The residence is a 600 square foot home and has 24/7 power, hot water, and a washing machine. Wifi is available and is “mostly” reliable!

Tours

Many local organizations inquire about bring groups out to tour our farm. We love to show off our mission to as many people as possible.

We would feel honored if you choose to come stay here on the farm with us. The first thing you need to do is fill out our volunteer application.
